cards. Whether it’s a contest to encourage
kids to approach police officers, a unique wedding
favor or the reaction of a sick child who has
been visited by a Therapy Pet, our trading cards

I had a ball
handing out my trading cards. The elementary school
kids really loved them. I even had one 2nd grader
ask me if I would sign it. I was taken aback.

Now that I’m
nearing the end of a great career, I give a lot
of safety talks to everyday type drivers.(housewives,
teenagers) and also special events, safety meetings
i.e.: PG&E, Chevron and include a card with
all of my handouts as a form of introduction.
Kids are picking up on the fact that special units
have Trading Cards and ask for them and when I
hang ‘em up at the end of this year I will
carry them with me as I travel around the country
in my motor home.

As a K-9 handler
& trainer for my department, I go to schools,
public meetings & perform K-9 demonstrations.
The cards are great for public awareness of how
police K9’s do their job. At Kennedy (NY)
& Newark (NJ) airports, the cards are a huge
hit with the traveling public. Kids from all over
write & ask how to get more Port Authority
& Police K-9 cards.

guests at the American Heroes Air Show love to
get the pilots to autograph the cards each year.
